Here are some tips to ensure the proper application of spray on bedliner if you want to do it yourself.

Stage 1 – Proper bedliner application

It is vital to read and understand the manufacturer’s instructions on mixing and applying the bedliner. See to it that you also prepare the bed’s surface correctly to ensure the proper adherence of the bedliner to the truck bed.

Prep your truck bed

See to it that you use solvent wax and grease remover that are recommended by the manufacturer. Clean the truck bed and allow it to dry thoroughly.

• See to it that you follow the recommended flash time between coatings. Typically, you should allow at least 60 minutes before adding the next coat. The recommendation is to apply three coatings for your truck bed.
• Note that you can increase the slip resistance or texture of the spray on bedliner by adjusting the bed and the sprayer’s distance. You can adjust the air pressure to make bigger droplets and make the texture of the bedliner coarser.
