Combine Diet and Exercise for Max Gains in 2019

This is the time of year that we always take a long, hard look at our fitness efforts, and more importantly, the results.

Maybe you’re visiting family you haven’t seen in a while, planning on attending some big parties or are lucky enough to be going to the beach for the holidays! All of these exciting scenarios can make you think about your fitness efforts and help you consider your plan for 2019.

New Year’s Resolutions – Diets & Workout Plans

After all, the New Years is always a time for improvement and self reflection. It’s that time of year when we want to put some extra time and energy into ourselves, and for many of us, that means some extra effort and attention into our diets and workout plans. After all the holiday meals, drinks and desserts, it’s the right time to do it.

There are lots of new diets creating headlines these days. The Keto diet has broken through the fitness circles into household language, and there are plenty of articles claiming that people have ‘shed the pounds’ on the keto diet, and you can read all about it in this introduction to the keto diet.

The Carnivore Diet is the latest diet trend to be gaining reputation, is far simpler than the keto diet, which requires active participation to measure and calculate the intake of your food. The carnivore diet is much simpler – just eat meat. That’s right! For breakfast, lunch and dinner you’re supposed to just eat meat, and the higher quality the beef the better!

Whether or not you think either of those diets sound appealing, the point is that by combining a food plan with your workouts, you’re ensuring that you take your fitness levels to new heights in 2019!

Working Out With a Plan

Your personal trainer most likely has lots of experience and knowledge in nutrition. Working with your personal trainer to develop a nutritional plan that works for you is going to paramount to max gains in 2019!

Have you ever heard the expression that weight loss is 70% diet? No matter what study, or diet you read, remember that what you put into your body, becomes you. What you choose to fuel your body with not only determines your physique, but will play a huge roll on how you physically feel as well!

Working out with a plan involves more than just going to the gym ready to work hard. While that’s a terrific step, many people aren’t putting in the same amount of effort in their diet as they are their workouts. Why do all that work just to ruin it with cheeseburgers?

After a long week of work compounded with early morning workouts, it’s easy to want to indulge on a Friday night. Those minor setbacks do counteract your progress, so if you’re looking to maximize your workout efforts, try taking it up a notch in 2019. Go on a diet, calorie count, try working out at a boutique fitness studio… push it to the limits!
