Guys! It’s finally summer! Or at least we are at the outskirts of it. And I know all too well what you ladies are concerned about. Building a practical and rather elegant wardrobe for your summers is difficult, but it is not impossible. And today I am going to tell you about the seven masterpieces I own that have kept my closet and my style together like a bobby pin would keep a chignon! Without further delay, let’s start.
That one blazer
Pair it off with any color, white or black power tees. You guys, I am all about minimalism. Two years ago, I chose to walk away from shopping sprees because I didn’t want consumerism on my conscience. So now I own pieces that I can mix and match, layer with my other staples and create a versatile outfit. Do I feel poor for not owning more clothes? Yes… *sheds a tear* Do I feel happy because my life has become easier? Totally!
Coming back to the blazer, you need one of these chic black blazers in your closet to pair it off with any shirt/tee/blouse. A good outwear will always make you look put together, choose a light fabric for summers.
If only I could, I would buy tote bags in all the possible colors! I am a huge fan of tote bags. They look stylish, and they are practical, which is sort of my criteria for choosing fashion pieces that I need in my closet to rely upon. A good quality tote bag can keep your stuff together when you are out to shop, or at work.
Bonus tip: Look for totes with a smaller pocket discreetly stitched inside so that you can stash your pearl studs in it if you have to at some point during the day.
Do you have a jumpsuit in your closet? Cause if you don’t, you need to get one. But before you buy a jumpsuit, make sure it fits you perfectly. Wear seamless underwear underneath it. The best part about adding a jumpsuit in your wardrobe is that it saves you from putting together an outfit on a busy morning. Pair it with some sexy heels, and you are all set.
I am sure you already have this asset in your closet; all you need to do is acknowledge their value and clutch them to your heart! Or maybe you can go ahead and buy a new pair. You can never have too many ballet flats. They can be worn on all occasions, from a date to your regular work days. If you don’t want to be frivolous and want to own just one pair of ballet flats, opt for the ones in black color.
Good quality denim
Every woman needs a pair of denim jeans in her wardrobe. A word of advice: Splurge! Buy good quality dark wash jeans. Jeans is one of those things that is going to last you long if you buy one in good quality. The fit of your jeans is crucial.
And never wash your jeans in warm water, cold water helps to retain the color in the fabric. Do not forget to turn the jeans inside out before you wash them. Investing in clothes is important, but so is taking care of them. If you wear a good pair of jeans with care, it can last you years.
Another wardrobe staple that is one of my favorites is a lovely embroidered t-shirt. T-shirts are a staple, and I don’t know any woman who doesn’t have some in her closet. Although a t-shirt falls in the category of casual clothing, one that has been embroidered can look quite chic on a summer night at a house party.
Embroidered adornments can make your t-shirt look fancier. My trustworthy retailer Get Bold T-shirt Printing and Embroidery lets me customize my t-shirts without any inconvenience.
The little black dress
Every woman is supposed to have a little black dress in her wardrobe. It is the perfect dress for that date night, a night out with your friends at the club, or a cocktail party. I don’t think anything that a woman can wear is more feminine than a little black dress. It is even better that you get a skilled seamstress to stitch something for you that fits your figure. Or you can buy a beautiful vintage black dress from a collector.
So, these are a few things that I like to keep in my wardrobe at all costs. They help me put together an outfit effortlessly. I hope you liked this list.
